Danielle Dargan is a professional learning consultant in mathematics. She has practiced education, particularly mathematics for the past 20 years, both in elementary and middle school. She has dedicated herself in supporting students in exploring mathematical thinking and critical investigation. Her love for teaching has expanded to include supporting teachers in thinking about their instructional strategies for student engagement and development, as well as modeling classroom discourse. Danielle’s educational background include a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and a Master’s Degree in Reading Development, along with many courses in mathematical development. For the past 7 years, Danielle has supported educators in deepening their understanding of mathematics with the purpose of student instruction, reflecting on how students learn mathematics, and investigating the instructional strategies for student growth in reasoning about mathematics. She has partnered with CKingEducation, Math Solutions, Scholastic, Houghton, Mifflin, & Harcourt, and the New York City Department of Education.
